Customers impacted by COVID-19 can defer until 31 December 2021
AmMetLife Insurance Berhad (AmMetLife) will extend the deferment of premium payment programme to 31 December 2021 for those Policy Owners who are financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
AmMetLife will continue to provide insurance protection to Policy Owners who are directly affected by COVID-19, including those who have been infected, quarantined at home, or suffered a loss of income from work or business. Eligible Policy Owners may apply to defer their premium payment for three months by contacting AmMetLife Insurance Berhad directly at [email protected].
Lee Jiau Jiunn, CEO AmMetLife, said: “We stand firmly with the Malaysian community in these difficult times. Under the same relief programme last year, we received over 400 applications for premium deferment amounting more than RM600,000.
“Our purpose is to help customers build a more confident future and extending this deferment programme to 31 December 2021 is the right thing to do for our customers who face the ongoing challenges of this pandemic.”
