KUALA LUMPUR, 18 APRIL 2025 – In celebration of its 50th anniversary, AmBank Group is proud to present the inaugural AmBank Malaysia Pickleball Championship 2025 — a tournament that champions community, culture, and youth empowerment through sport. The championship, happening from Friday, 30th May 2025 to Sunday, 1st June 2025, will see 500 pickleball and sports enthusiasts, including first-time players to seasoned pros from different ages, backgrounds, and experiences, coming together to join this exciting tournament.

The AmBank Malaysia Pickleball Championship 2025, powered by SCORE Sports Management and hosted at Pickle Nation as the official venue, aims to harness the growing popularity of pickleball in Malaysia and around the world.

Driven by the slogan, ‘Malaysia Kita’, the AmBank Malaysia Pickleball Championship 2025 strives to go beyond competition to promote and celebrate our unique Malaysian community values such as our diverse culture and language. With this commitment, AmBank continues to drive positive and meaningful impact among Malaysians, helping them improve and recognize the importance of not only their financial health and wellbeing, but also their physical and mental health.

Among the activations being considered is a sneaker recycling programme, where used sports shoes are repurposed into materials for community running tracks or court surfaces — raising awareness around circular design and environmental responsibility.
