Experience:	Hong Kean Yong was the Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Technology Advisor at Taylors Education Group from April 2011 until June 2018, where his primary responsibility was to advise the Group Chief Executive Officer on adoption of information technology in the various operating divisions and provide oversight of Chief Information Officer of Higher Education Division. Prior to that, he was the Group Chief Information Officer for Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad from April 2008 to March 2011. He was responsible for the Group IT Strategy and IT Oversight of all subsidiary companies. He played an important role in setting the IT Vision and Mission and the synergies in the application of technology to enable business, including the IT architecture, design and development across the financial services group.
