Experience:
  • Mr U Chen Hock ('Mr U') is a seasoned banker with over 36 years of extensive experience, gained from a long and distinguished career in senior leadership roles at a global banking group and two (2) Malaysian financial institutions. His expertise spans corporate, investment and consumer banking.
  • He holds a Bachelor of Economics and Management (Hons) degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and is a Certified Financial Planner, accredited by the Financial Planning Standards Board, USA. He has further enhanced his leadership and management skills by attending numerous Senior Executive Leadership Programmes at INSEAD, London Business School, Duke Corporate Education, and IMD throughout his career.
  • Mr U served as Chairman of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia for two (2) terms from 2005 to 2007.
  • He currently holds the position of Independent Non-Executive Director, Chairman of Risk Management Committee and member of Audit and Examination Committee at AmBank (M) Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AMMB Holdings Berhad.
